Hi!  We’re the Bystrom’s – Char &  my husband, Noah.  I’d like to introduce ourselves and share the story of how this business came to be.  I grew up in northern Minnesota, between my Parents’ and my Grandparent’s resorts.  My first job was helping my mom serve tables in the Lodge and clean cabins.  One of my fondest memories as a child is sitting across the bar from my Grandpa while he bartended at his resort, sipping a kiddie cocktail and eating M&M’s.  I always dreamed of following in my family’s footsteps and making my way in the hospitality business somehow.  In my 20’s I bartended and served my way though college and my education led me to pursue a career in accounting.  Fast forward to a few years ago when Noah and I purchased a cabin with the dream of it not only being a place to make family memories, a successful income property as well.  We had so much fun crafting the theme of the cabin, sourcing quality furnishings and décor, and making our vision come to life.  When we first started hosting, due to local regulations were required to have a property management company.  As time went on, the quality of their services began to deteriorate, and we found ourselves doing most of the work.  Eventually, the local regulation was lifted and we parted ways with the management company and fully took on the property ourselves.  As with anything in life, this was all a great learning experience, and we can now translate lessons learned to successful business operating models.  We quickly achieved Super Host status on Airbnb and our property has earned the coveted Guest Favorite Badge.  Hospitality runs in my blood, and I have the hands-on experience and professional background to drive and deliver results.  Let me put the sum of my personal and professional experience to work for you, to help you achieve the success that we have found!
